Dan Foti, B.A. (Harvard University, 2006) dan.foti [at] gmail.com (6th Year, Clinical Psychology) NRSA-funded project: Investigating emotional reactivity in depression using event-related potentials Research Interests: I'm interested in using ERPs (e.g., the LPP and the FN) to study interactions between top-down and bottom-up processing of emotional information, and how these neural measures are influenced by individual differences in personality traits and state mood. I'm also interested in applying these measures to better understand abnormal emotional processing as it manifests in major depressive disorder and schizophrenia.

Jonathan Dunning, M.A. jpdunning [at] gmail.com (6th Year, Social/Health Psychology) Research Interests: I primarily utilize peripheral psychophysiological measures (startle response, facial EMG, skin conductance) to investigate interactions between emotion, cognition, and psychopathology. My focus has been: 1) investigating basic questions about the meaning/interpretation of the emotion-modulated startle response; 2) peripheral and neural correlates of cognitive reappraisal and emotion regulation; 3) fear generalization and how emotion influences fear-potentiated startle; and 4) using ERPs (the LPP and FN) to investigate emotion-cognition interactions in individuals with cocaine use disorders
